Lena Hansen is convinced that more sustainable events are possible – and must become the standard. As head and board member of Netzwerk Green Events (NGE), she brings together the event industry, science, public administration, and civil society to develop practical strategies for future-proof events. What began as personal commitment in 2017 led to the founding of the organization's office in 2019 – today its knowledge transfer reaches across Germany and Europe. The Green Events Siegel, introduced in 2023, combines efficient sustainability management with credible communication. As a sustainability scientist, she brings years of experience in international cooperation and complex partnerships.
