Skool Boy

Through early musical education and playing the oboe in an orchestra, the passion for music began at a young age. For around 12 years, Hamburg-based Jakob Janner has been making his way through the German hip-hop scene under his alias Skool Boy. In 2017, he teamed up with Maru to form the producer duo SBM (Skool Boy & Marú), and together they began accompanying Hamburg rapper Jace on his journey. Productions for artists such as Luciano, OG Keemo, Haiyti, and many others followed. In early 2022, Skool Boy launched his own platform, Beat-Pool: events, booking, management, and other services have since become part of the 33-year-old’s repertoire.
