The Cavemen

With their invention of ‘Highlife Fusion,’ which combines highlife, Afrobeat, jazz, and soul music, the Cavemen are pioneers of the highlife music renaissance, making it relevant to a contemporary generation eager to discover its roots. Since 2018, the Lagos-based sibling duo, consisting of Kingsley Chukwudi Okorie and Benjamin Chukwudi James, has expanded its loyal fan base with experimental, nostalgic recordings and electrifying live performances, establishing a reputation of its own. Driven by a desire to make the music they grew up with, the band has embarked on a journey to carry the sounds of the past into the future and position themselves as a bridge between generations. They are the undisputed standard-bearers of modern highlife music.

A special concert highlight awaits you at Docks: carefully curated, Collide brings together established and up-and-coming acts from all over the world with impressive visual artists. For each act, three music videos are created from the live performance, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes material that offers exciting insights into the creative processes behind Collide.  PFA Studios Collectiveare responsible for The Cavemen.
