Street Art Walk
Anyone visiting Reeperbahn Festival is always on the move: Catching that long-awaited concert here, rushing off to a reading there, then meeting up with friends at a kiosk later on. All too often, people overlook the many impressive works of art that adorn the walls of St Pauli. To change that, the Street Art Walk invites you to discover hidden works of art and secret spots as well as to learn fascinating stories about street art, graffiti, and urban culture. Follow the guides from STREET ART EXPERIENCE with a keen eye, and let yourself be guided by a passion for art on walls. The Street Art Walk will take you around the Reeperbahn into secluded alleyways and intriguing backyards. Your gaze will wander up and down – always with the aim of spotting the temporary works of art in the streets. Because who knows: They might well have disappeared by the next morning…
The tour will start at the information desk at the Festival Village and is limited to a maximum of 60 participants. You will find a registration list at the starting-point of the tour, where you can secure one of the spaces from festival Wednesday on. A limited amount of these spaces will be reserved for people who decide to come along spontaneously, so don’t worry if the list is already full. Those spaces will be distributed first come first serve just before the start of the tour.
