Aida Baghernejad is a freelance journalist and presenter based in Berlin. She writes and speaks about culture and gastronomy for publications such as Der Tagesspiegel, Zeit Online, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, and The Guardian. Sometimes she covers both topics simultaneously, though she mostly focuses on the political dimensions found in sound, between the pages of a book, or on the plate. In 2024 she spent five months as a Thomas Mann Fellow at the Thomas Mann House in Los Angeles. She lives primarily in Berlin, occasionally in London, and—above all—on the internet.
