Schutz für Marke, Fans und Artists: Wie Veranstaltende den Ticket-Zweitmarkt aktiv steuern
Whether an event is sold out or not, the secondary ticket market exists – whether promoters want it to or not. Unofficial platforms and inflated resale prices not only harm fans, but can also undermine trust in a promoter’s brand, relationships with artists and the experience at the entrance. At the same time, political pressure is growing in Germany to regulate the resale market more strictly. For promoters, the pressing question is: How can they maintain control over their tickets, what legal framework can they expect, and what does a fair secondary market look like in practice?
In this panel, BDKV, promoter Loft Concerts and ticketing platform TicketSwap discuss the challenges from the perspective of live entertainment professionals. The conversation will explore which political measures the industry is calling for, how promoters can strengthen fan service through official resale solutions, and how a secure secondary market can be used as a strategic tool for building customer loyalty.
