Johannes Everke

Johannes Everke has served as CEO of BDKV (Federal Association of the Concert and Event Industry) since January 2023. A lawyer and cultural manager, he brings a professional background spanning live culture, cultural policy, economic development and city marketing. Following the restructuring of the association and its services, he is now focusing his efforts at the BDKV on expanding political advocacy in Berlin and Brussels and supporting member companies in their sustainable development. He serves on various industry and specialist committees, including those of the German Cultural Council (Deutscher Kulturrat), the Artists' Social Security Fund (KSK), Initiative Musik, the German Music Council (Deutscher Musikrat), the Reeperbahn Festival, and the Hamburg Club Foundation (Hamburger Clubstiftung).
