Physical beats beneath a glittering synth-pop veil, shimmering trap in “push-up” mode for Gen Alpha – and above it all, the raw vocals of an unapologetic female rapper. Mieze tears apart the unwritten rules of German rap and bares her teeth at the scene – because it’s simply long overdue. The newcomer turns the tables and – in tracks such as “Süßer” (2026) – shows the media sausage party what it feels like to be turned into an object of crude desire. Her lines are cheeky and fresh, sitting rock-solid in the flow. Mieze couldn’t care less about those hypocritical standards from above that her proponents don’t even adhere to themselves. Instead, in her standout track “It-Girl” (2026), Mieze bares her claws and relishes in unmasking herself as a rap predator hunting prey across the current hype landscape. In so doing, exaggerated provocations and snarl-filled irony in the lyrics serve as tools to simultaneously expose patriarchal sexualisation. What does that feel like? Like a sound that must be even better live than on any playlist. And you can see her here first. We promise.
