Italian singer-songwriter Tära makes no secret of her Palestinian heritage. In fact, she draws on her roots in tracks like “Sotto Effetto” (2024) and “Ana Bali” (2025) to create a unique sonic fusion that seeks to unite East and West through driving beats. Soul and R&B, reggae and Arabic scales flow into one another here, producing something the young artist herself playfully refers to as “Arab’n’B”. Even if the subgenre never catches on, the term certainly fits. Steeped in the scents of summer, Tära’s music can sound vibrant and celebratory, as in “Dunya” (2024), but also elegiac and existential, as in the poignant “You Cannot Erase Us” (2026). Her recently released debut EP “Zefiro” (2026) definitively confirms her status as an ambassador between cultures, an artist with a distinctive musical language that bridges differences and finds beauty in the human need for dance and expression.
