Next-Gen-Program

In recent years, the Festival Village has offered young professionals, (young) people interested in launching a career in the music industry, and career changers a platform to explore the field of music through talks, workshops, interactive activities, and gaming.

Policy Dialogues

In 2024, the Reeperbahn Festival Conference hosted the so-called Policy Dialogues—sessions in which issues and contexts at the intersection of national and European cultural policy were addressed and discussed. The aim was to bring together stakeholders from both fields and encourage dialogue.

Our Program Partnerships

Together with strong partners, the Reeperbahn Festival Conference is expanding its scope. Our program partnerships bring additional perspectives, in-depth discussions, and new communities to the conference—making it a place for exchange that goes beyond music. Discover a selection of our partners here.

VUT - VUT Indie House

The Verband unabhängiger Musikunternehmer*innen e.V. (VUT) is committed to raising awareness of and fostering greater appreciation for the cultural diversity to which independent music entrepreneurs make a significant contribution. Through the "VUT Indie House," we are presenting a jointly curated program of sessions and receptions as part of the Reeperbahn Festival Conference.

BVMI – Bundesverband Musikindustrie

The Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI)  represents the interests of approximately 150 record labels and music companies, which account for a good 80 percent of the German music market. At the conference, the BVMI will host its own sessions on relevant industry topics.

BDKV – Bundesverband der Konzert- und Veranstaltungswirtschaft

The Bundesverband der Konzert- und Veranstaltungswirtschaft influences and optimizes the economic, political, and legal framework for concert, festival, and tour organizers, guest performance agencies, artist management firms, and event agencies in the pop and classical music sectors. At the conference, it offers various sessions and hosts "Future Talents Day," a program designed to support emerging talent in the music industry.

We are part of the Keychange Initiative

Our initiative for diversity and gender equality in the music industry.

The Reeperbahn Festival is part of the Keychange Initiative – a global alliance committed to equality and diversity in the music industry. By participating, we commit to supporting at least 50% of the performing artists and speakers within our program who belong to an underrepresented gender. In doing so, we actively contribute to creating equal opportunities and strengthening diversity on stages, panels, and within the industry.
