As an association, YOUROPE represents over 130 festivals from 31 countries and has been committed since 1998 to promoting the festival scene, cultural exchange, and the further development of European society. At the Reeperbahn Festival Conference, YOUROPE will be hosting sessions on festival-related topics and matchmaking events.

Hamburg Music is Germany’s first regional music industry association and, with currently around 150 member companies, one of the largest in Europe. At the Reeperbahn Festival Conference, sessions and various networking events will be held in collaboration with Hamburg Music.

GVL is the German collecting society for performing artists and producers. At the conference, GVL will be hosting sessions on topics such as rights management.

The Forum Musikwirtschaft comprises the seven leading associations in the sector and serves as a platform for dialogue where key issues facing the music industry are identified and discussed with the aim of bringing them to the attention of policymakers and the public. This platform for dialogue is also reflected in joint sessions at the Reeperbahn Festival Conference.

The Forum Veranstaltungswirtschaft is an alliance of six leading associations in the sector. The alliance aims to pool networks, expertise, and resources in order to be even more effective through these efforts and by presenting a united front in political lobbying. These topics will be addressed in sessions at the Reeperbahn Festival Conference.

As an association, GEMA represents the interests of its members—over 100,000 composers, lyricists, and publishers. As a long-standing partner, GEMA is a staple at the Reeperbahn Festival Conference and organizes annual sessions on a variety of topics.

The Initiative Musik is the federal government’s main funding agency for popular music and jazz. At the Reeperbahn Festival Conference, it will host a session focusing on funding mechanisms.

Supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe program, Keychange is a global network working toward a complete restructuring of the music industry to achieve full gender equality. In cooperation with the initiative, sessions on topics relevant to Keychange are held annually at the Reeperbahn Festival Conference.

The Bundesverband LiveMusikKommission e.V. is the network for the club and festival scene and represents its interests in dealings with policymakers, government agencies, the media, and the general public. Together with LiveKomm, we organize sessions on the live music market, among other initiatives.

The Bundesstiftung LiveKultur secures venues for music clubs and festivals to preserve live music as an integral part of Germany’s cultural landscape. At the Reeperbahn Festival Conference, for example, sessions on the future of live music are held in cooperation with the foundation.

The Music Cities Network is a member-based network that actively develops practical solutions to bridge the gaps between all stakeholders in a music city: artists, music entrepreneurs, city marketing strategists, and music policy decision-makers. The sessions, organized in cooperation with the CNM, will focus, among other things, on the role of the music industry in urban development.

MusicTech Germany is the world’s first national association for music technology. It represents the shared interests of hardware, software, and service providers who are addressing the challenges of the music value chain in the digital age through innovation and pioneering work. In cooperation with MusicTech Germany, we are organizing program events focused on technology.
