Auf ein Wort

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, starting at 7 p.m., the Reeperbahn Festival will once again host a large networking event for the German-speaking comedy, podcast, and spoken word scene – “Reeperbahn Festival bittet auf ein Wort” (Reeperbahn Festival invites you to have a word).

What began two years ago as an experiment has now established itself as a regular meeting place for the industry. The initiative is led by prominent players in the Hamburg scene, including Oschatz Management, Kaderschmiede, Der Kulturlotse, Live Artist Management, Heiko Neumann Management, and Elbe Entertainment. New this year as a cooperation partner is Jochen Voß from ArizonaBlau (Cologne), known as the initiator of the “Cologne Comedy Connector” and the Grimme-sponsored comedy symposium “Was gibt's zu lachen” (What's to laugh about).

From 7 to 10 p.m., the B2Beergarden in the middle of the Reeperbahn will be transformed into a creative marketplace for personal exchange and targeted networking.

Once again, the conference area will offer exciting panels, talks, and insights from and for professionals from the spoken word cosmos. This year, spoken word artists will once again be performing live on the festival stages, showcasing what is currently happening on the scene.
