BEAUTY SCHOOL DROPOUT
Before they'd even released a single, BEAUTY SCHOOL DROPOUT had the backing of some of the biggest names in US punk rock. With Mark Hoppus from blink-182 and Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy, the trio had strong support for the release of their debut EP ‘Boys Do Cry’ (2021) and learned some invaluable songwriting tricks right from the start of their own career. It's no wonder that the singles from their debut album “We Made Plans & God Laughed” (2022) quickly racked up seven-figure streamcounts on the relevant platforms. Powerful guitars, plaintive vocals and that very special melodic flair that also set their role models on the road to success in the early 2000s are translated into a recipe for emotional earworms with BEAUTY SCHOOL DROPOUT. The second album “READY TO EAT” (2023) is in the same vein and emphasises the Californian trio's songwriting, which seesaws between indie rock and pop-punk. Now, with ‘Where Did All The Butterflies Go?’ album number three is almost ready - just in time for their first live show with us in Hamburg.
