Ray Lozano

Connecting with others, experiencing community, creating something together: Ray Lozano brings her music to life as purely and sincerely as the motives with which she goes through life. The German-Filipino singer–songwriter is no stranger to the virtues of handmade creation or to the latest production methods. She plays alto saxophone and piano, can handle her voice as well as she can handle a bass, and knows her way around production software. After completing a degree in Jazz & Pop at the ArtEZ University Of The Arts in the Netherlands and returning to her native Cologne, she raked in millions of streams with songs such as ‘Velvet Blue’ (2023) and ‘HiYa’ (2024) and has been regarded as Germany’s most soulful R’n’B hopeful ever since the release of her debut album, ‘Pairing Mode’ (2023). Album number two, ‘Silk & Sorrow’, has now been released and leaves no doubt that the advance praise from the arts pages has been more than justified.
