Since forming in 2016, Vianova have carved out their own niche between progressive metal and djent, paying no heed to the conventions of the scene. After their debut EP “A Place I Want To Live In But I Don't Want To Die For” (2018), the quintet from Berlin gained a ton of stage experience and grew together as a musical friendship project with their own unique style. You can hear this on their follow-up EPs “Looking For...” (2022) and “...A Way Out” (2023) as well as at their hugely intense concerts, which have earned them acclaim well beyond Germany. Word has got around that Vianova are now among the local leading lights of metalcore, breathing new life into the genre with rapid release bends and pitch shifts, atmospheric electronic passages and razor-sharp precision playing.
