Berthold Seliger has been an European booking agent and German tour promoter for 37 years.

As a publicist, he writes regularly for daily newspapers and magazines, primarily about classical music and aspects of the culture industry.

His book publications include Das Geschäft mit der Musik (The Business with Music), Klassikkampf (The Classical Music Battle) and Vom Imperiengeschäft (The Empire Business). His new book, Musik. Streaming. Kapitalismus (Music. Streaming. Capitalism), will be published in early 2026.
